Module 4 starts Feb. 9th

Module 3 starts Feb. 13th

New York State Requirements for a Home Inspector License:

1) High school diploma or its equivalent

2) Education: 5 Modules totaling 140-hours.

...a) Modules 1-4 in class - 100 hrs. - can be taken in any order

......1) Module 1 - 25 hrs. - Structure, Roofing & Exterior

......2) Module 2 - 25 hrs. - Interiors, Electric, Insulation & Ventilation

......3) Module 3 - 25 hrs. - Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

......4) Module 4 - 25 hrs. - License Law, The Profession, & Report Writing

...b) Module 5 - 40 hrs -Unpaid field based inspections in the presence of NYS licensed home inspector

......6) Pass the New York State written examination - next tests are April 5, May 3, June 7, 2010
